OFFICIAL RULES 

Important: Please read these Official Rules before entering this Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements below. 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

Sweepstakes void where prohibited. Subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws. 

1. Eligibility 

The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older) at the time of entry. 

Directors, officers, members, managers, and employees of Hanna Andersson, LLC (“Sponsor”), [American Girl/Mattel entities, if applicable], Instagram, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising, promotional, public relations, and fulfillment agencies, consultants, legal counsel, and immediate family or household members of such individuals are not eligible to win any prize. 

IF YOU DO NOT MEET ANY OF THESE REQUIREMENTS, OR ANY OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE. 

To be eligible to win, entries must be completed and received by Sponsor in the manner and format designated below. 

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED, ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH INSTAGRAM. 

2. Sweepstakes Period 

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on October 29, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on November 4, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). 

Sponsor's or its designee's computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. 

All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period and meet all requirements outlined in these Official Rules to be eligible to win a prize. 

Proof of entry does not constitute proof of receipt by Sponsor. 

3. How to Enter 

To enter, during the Sweepstakes Period: 

  1. Log in to or join Instagram at www.instagram.com (joining Instagram is free).
  2. Visit Hanna Andersson's official Instagram page at instagram.com/hannaandersson.
  3. Follow both @hannaandersson and @americangirlbrand on Instagram.
  4. Like the designated American Girl® Holiday Giveaway post.
  5. Tag at least one friend in the comments of the designated giveaway post and share which American Girl® doll is your favorite.

Upon completion of all required entry steps and compliance with these Official Rules, you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. 

Entry Limit: ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD. 

Additional comments or tags will not increase an entrant's chances of winning. 

Any attempt to obtain additional entries, including through multiple or duplicate accounts, fraudulent activity, or other unauthorized methods, may result in disqualification at Sponsor's discretion. 

4. Identity of Entrant 

All entries must be submitted by the individual entrant. 

Bulk or automated submissions will be disqualified, including entries made using scripts, macros, bots, or promotional services. 

Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same Instagram account for entry purposes. 

Any attempt to obtain additional entries through fraud or other illegitimate means may result in disqualification at Sponsor's discretion. 

Sponsor reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of any entrant. 

5. Selection and Notification of Winners 

On or about November 4, 2026, Sponsor will select two (2) potential winners through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. 

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. 

Sponsor will notify the potential winners via Instagram direct message from the official @hannaandersson Instagram account on or about November 4, 2026. 

To claim a prize, each potential winner must follow the instructions contained in the notification and provide any information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and deliver the prize. 

If a potential winner does not respond within [48 hours] of notification, is determined to be ineligible, or is otherwise unable to accept the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. 

Alternate drawings may be conducted until two eligible winners are confirmed. 

Verification of Potential Winners: EACH POTENTIAL WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES. 

AN ENTRANT IS NOT A PRIZE WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL THE ENTRANT'S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND THE ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. 

6. Prizes 

Two (2) winners will each receive a prize package featuring: 

  • Hanna Andersson's NEW limited-edition American Girl® Holiday collection, including matching Mommy & Me pajamas.
  • One (1) American Girl® doll to match.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) per Prize Package: $500

Total ARV of All Prizes: $500

Prize Restrictions: 

PRIZES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE. NO SUBSTITUTIONS OR EXCHANGES OF ANY PRIZE (INCLUDING FOR CASH) WILL BE PERMITTED, EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW OR WHERE SPONSOR ELECTS TO SUBSTITUTE A PRIZE OF COMPARABLE OR GREATER VALUE. 

Prize selections, including apparel sizes and doll styles, are subject to availability and the final prize package specifications. 

ONLY THE NUMBER OF PRIZES STATED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES ARE AVAILABLE TO BE WON IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. 

LIMIT ONE (1) PRIZE PACKAGE PER PERSON. 

Sponsor will not replace lost or stolen prizes or prize components, except as required by applicable law. 

Prizes are awarded “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, except as required by law. 

7. Disclaimer 

Sponsor, Instagram, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, professional advisors, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, public relations firms, advertising, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, and any of their respective directors, officers, members, managers, and employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will not be responsible for: 

(a) Any late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, distorted, or damaged transmissions or entries; 

(b) Phone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer or communications-related malfunctions or failures; 

(c) Any Sweepstakes disruptions, injuries, losses, or damages caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor or the Released Parties; or 

(d) Any printing, typographical, or administrative errors in materials associated with the Sweepstakes. 

8. General Release and Limitations of Liability 

By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to release Sponsor and all Released Parties from liability arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or the delivery, acceptance, possession, use, or inability to use any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. 

Each entrant also agrees to release Instagram from any responsibility or liability associated with the Sweepstakes. 

9. Use of Name, Likeness, etc. 

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's name, hometown, aural and visual likeness, and prize information for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law. 

10. License to Submission 

By entering the Sweepstakes and submitting a comment in connection with the Sweepstakes, entrants grant Sponsor a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use their giveaway entry comments for purposes related to administering, announcing, and promoting the Sweepstakes, subject to applicable law. 

No additional photographs, videos, or original creative submissions are required to enter. 

11. Privacy 

Personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be handled in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at:

12. Winner List; Rules Request 

For a copy of the winner list, send a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope for arrival after November 4, 2026, and before November 4, 2027, to the address listed in Section 16 below.

14. Disputes 

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflicts of laws. 

Except where prohibited by law, any disputes arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its applicable rules. 

15. General Conditions 

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. 

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, subject to applicable law. 

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Official Rules or attempts to interfere with the proper operation of the Sweepstakes.
