Exchange Rates
Your order total is guaranteed at the exchange rate set when your order is placed. Foreign exchange rates are determined by Borderfree and are based on interbank rates of exchange. These rates correspond to the average aggregate exchange rates that would otherwise be applied in an e-commerce transaction.
Exchange rates on Hannaandersson.com are updated by Borderfree every day. You’ll receive a message when placing your order if exchange rates have been updated while you’re shopping.
Duties & Taxes
International taxes, tariffs, and value-added tax (VAT) will be calculated into your final order total during checkout. These duties and taxes are based on the country of origin or manufacturing of the items you’re purchasing, and the classification of those items in accordance with a system used by the countries that Borderfree supports.
You’ll be offered options to either prepay duties and taxes or to pay duties and taxes on delivery. If you choose to prepay duties and taxes, the order total presented at checkout is the exact amount you’ll be billed by Borderfree, and that’s it—no additional costs due upon delivery. If you choose to pay duties and taxes on delivery, you’ll need to pay those fees to the shipping carrier when you receive the order. If the due charges are not paid upon delivery, the merchandise will be sent back to Hanna Andersson and you will not be refunded any of the shipping charges.
International Shipping
Once you’ve completed your order, Hanna will ship your item to the Borderfree shipping hub in the United States. Borderfree then ships your order to its final international destination.
Most in-stock items will arrive 5–14 business days after receipt of your order. You'll see an estimated shipping range specific to your destination in checkout.
Please note that shipping windows are just estimates, and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you’re not—for any reason—your unwashed and unworn Hannas can be returned within 60 days of original purchase for a full refund (except for shipping costs). Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment. Keep in mind that you’ll be responsible for all return shipping fees, and we won’t reimburse the original shipping costs.
To start your return, please contact Hanna’s customer care team, internationalorders@hannaandersson.com and ask them to send you a Return Merchandise Authorization form. Mail the completed form with your item(s) to the Borderfree address included on the form. Borderfree will credit your account after it finished processing the form and merchandise. You will also receive an email from Borderfree to confirm that the return has been completed.
Please allow Borderfree up to 6 weeks to process your return and to credit the refund to your financial institution.
