Rated 5 out of 5 by NicBabs from Perfect Summer Dress I bought this in black and am ordering the navy now. I love it!! I have been searching for a t-shirt dress that isn't completely shapeless or see-through, and this is it! I love that it shapes in at the waist a bit, without being too tight, and flares out. I find the fabric to be the perfect weight for summer, and drapes beautifully! Please don't change it! If I'm playing with the kids outside (i.e. bending over) I usually throw on a pair of running shorts underneath. I would LOVE it if Hanna made tumble shorts for women!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DonnaProf from Best dress ever I adore it. Perfect weight and fit for me in my normal Hanna size: Medium. I disagree with those who find the cotton thin and low quality. For me, in a warm climate, it is everything I want in a breezy summer dress with a little sleeve, lots of stretch and a flattering neckline. I hope the negative reviews won’t result in Hanna offering only thick, heavy cotton dresses for summer. Hopefully, there can be offerings for both those loving the soft, stretchy, thinner fabric and those wanting heavier weight material.

Rated 1 out of 5 by johnson8 from See through! I have been a Hanna devotee for over 25 years, which is why I was shocked at the poor quality of this dress. We all have come to know and love the quality of Hanna cotton and this was the complete opposite. I bought this in black and navy and both went back. There's no way I could wear this dress without a slip. Very disappointing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Professor from Love the striped and the solid versions In response to comments that the two versions I not sized consistently, the ones that I ordered (black and rust striped, and black and gray solid) all had the same fit and sizing. I find that they drape beautifully over leggings, and I ordered two different long cardigans (black and rust) to take them from summer through the winter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AmandaF from Buyer beware If you ordered the stripe version this fall and loved it, I don't suggest ordering the solid version. I loved the stripe one so much I ordered the solid green and it literally fits like a tent. I'm shocked at the size difference. It will be headed back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by TSC42 from Buying another!! Absolutely love this dress! Buying my 3rd now! It is wonderful for playing with my girls, but I also feel dressed up enough when I go out with my husband- not like I've been wearing kid-friendly yoga pants all day. I think the fabric is perfect for summer- it's obviously a summer dress! It is breezy and extremely comfortable. Although it is a swing dress, it is extremely flattering. Would wear one everyday if I could!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rose R from Thin fabric I agree with the negative review regarding the fabric of this dress. The cut is fabulous; it looks so cute. The neckline is flattering. But the fabric, though soft, is terribly thin. A dress with a swing like this needs a little more substance or you might have some bad Marilyn Monroe moments. Though it falls nicely, it has no weight, and because it's above the knee, the flimsy fabric simply makes me feel too exposed. I may keep it and wear capri-length leggings underneath, but I'm not sure the fabric warrants even half this price. A real disappointment. Hanna is on the right track with the style of this dress, but they'll have to commit to better materials. This feels like a nightgown, not something to wear when I chase my kids.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Brarydog from Disappointing fabric quality I ordered in Tangy Red, a fun tomato color. The cut is good. But it's going back because the fabric is far too thin for the money, even at the sale price. It shows every bra line and clings to my behind & underwear, even though the cut is generous enough. I don't want to wear a slip with a swingy t-shirt dress. I have a similarly cut and priced dress from Eileen Fisher that is just thick enough to NOT show these lines but still drape and breathe well, even after years of wear. And Hanna's Elisabet dress is thicker but stil drapes well. I've been a Hanna customer since I was a kid and my uncle worked for them (in the 80s!) but I've returned most adult items lately. Hoping the quality improves, I'm willing to pay for clothes that last - like most of the Hanna kids' clothes!
