Rated 3 out of 5 by Beth1980 from Super cute, but it shrunk terribly We bought two of these dresses this year. She loves the dress and says it makes her feel FANCY. However, the first one we bought was blue and she spilled red fingernail polish on the very first day. So, it was no longer wearable other than play attire. We purchased the pink one second to replace the blue because pink is her favorite color. Well, after 2 washes and following care instructions it now looks like a tunic and can't be worn without shorties underneath which she doesn't like. It's a shame because this was her favorite dress.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LittlePsMom from HA Changed the Dress from Previous Years We have been purchasing this dress every year since HANNA first introduced it years ago for both my daughters. The dress was simply beautiful and extremely good quality that held up to many washes and the hand me downs didn’t look old at all... until this year. This year’s version of this dress is different than previous years. Previous year’s dresses the skirt tulle was made of a silky soft nylon/Lycra, so it flowed better and didn’t wrinkle much at all. This year the skirt tulle is made out of 100% polyester so it wrinkles easily and looks cheap. Also the top used to be made out of a thicker cotton jersey but this year’s version is thinner and sewed with less quality detailing. Finally I noticed the cut of the dress is much wider. Let’s just say the new version in a size 110 was two inches wider than a size 130 from last year. Please corporate, go back to making the previous versions of this dress!

Rated 5 out of 5 by linusluv from My kid's favorite dress My daughter has had several of these dresses since she was two years old. They hold up to multiple washings and are made of a soft cotton. She loves the bouncy flouncy skirt. I always buy the dress a size too big so she can wear it for multiple seasons. In the winter, I just throw on a shirt and some pants under the dress so she can keep in trucking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by EmilyM123 from Not like previous dresses in this style This is my fourth year buying this style or similar dresses. In the past, the chiffon layer does not have a hem, but has always held up great. This year there is a seam/hem (not sure of the term), but it was all ragged looking when I received my order. I was very disappointed and will be returning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BestMom62110 from such a pretty dress I bought this dress in pink for my daughter first, I was so happy with the look and feel of it. Its just such a pretty dress, looks gorgeous on my princess. However, I agree with the other review. It is definitely hard to get any stains out for some reason on this dress! I also had problems with the top part and the tulle...my daughter hardly got anything on it. I'm not even sure what the stains were, she had it on for one day. But I thought it was something that was just tough to get off, so I did end up getting the blue one recently. Its gorgeous, but after reading the other review I'm thinking, oh great better not get anything on it. my daughter is also 6 so that's going to be pretty much impossible!

Rated 4 out of 5 by RachelK from Beautiful fit, beautiful dress, but holds stains too well.... Absolutely loved this dress for my 97th percentile 6 year old who is taller than almost all in her class, including the boys, and larger in general than everyone in her class (I tell you this because this is what I look for when looking for sizing and I feel like my child is one of the few wearing Hanna’s in her size range so I figured I’d start posting reviews on our beloved Hanna’s) Currently she is wearing Hanna sizes 130-150 depending on the piece. This dress we bought last year in a size 130 I believe (of course my child was smaller a year ago) with room to grow. Not too much to where it looked bad, because it didn’t, it was gorgeous, but just enough so that she can still wear it. This dress though, one of the prettiest dresses on my child and her absolute fave, was delegated to an outside “do what you want play dress” after the second time she wore it. I rarely have problems getting stains out of her Hanna’s...they wash so well over and over again. But this one (and only one other out of all our Hanna clothes), not so much. The paint from school just would not come out of the top material nor out of the tulle skirt. Just school paint...the same paint that comes out of everything else. I don’t know if it was because the material on this dress is particularly thick (well made thick not awful hot thick) but that doesn’t exactly explain the tulle though...although it is pretty thick too and has definitely held up to lots of washings so far. I tried everything I could come up with and did not dry it in between so that it wouldn’t set into the fibers. Now I did have to wait until 5 pm before I could get to soaking it since well, that’s when I get my first chance to assess my sweet bear and see how everything went that day. This is not, however, the first time she’s come home with paint, not by a long shot!, and really this was quite a little compared to some days, and the majority of clothes she wears are Hanna. It was, however, the first time coming home with paint on this dress and we were both devastated when it wouldn’t come out. Theres no way she can wear it again except for dirty play. It made me skeptical about buying anymore if stains were going to be that hard, or rather impossible, to get out, but I kept buying and overall, it’s just the occasional stubborn stain that won’t come out. Nothing anywhere near how this dress held onto those stains like they were holding on for dear life. it’s been washed lots of times since and it is still solid...and my child plays hard. When I saw it on sale, I almost put it in my cart, but after writing my review and remembering how much I fought with that darn dress and the paint (knowing I’ve become quite good at getting stains out too), I just can’t bring myself to do it...as much as I’d like to. But there are plenty more I absolutely love. Cest la vie! p.s. You can see though from the pictures how well it has held up...despite the blasted same paint that has come out of everything else. Oh, one final thing. I always follow the washing instructions. I wanted to give it a 3 out of 5 but the darn thing has been washed 50 times and it’s still holding up like it was washed the first time.
