Rated 5 out of 5 by GirlTwins from Daughter’s favorites Since receiving these shorts my very active daughter has been unwilling to wear any others. Luckily we bought 3 pairs!

Rated 2 out of 5 by IgottaFind from Scratchy Scratch. Oh Hanna, what have you done? While the fabric seems to have the same feel and cut the leg opening seams are scratchy. My daughter helped when I tried her new pair on. These have been our favorite, why do you have to go changing things when they have 5 star reviews?

Rated 2 out of 5 by IgottaFind from Scratchy Seam I’ve loved Hanna bike shorts and tumble shorts for a few years now. These have changed since becoming ‘bright kids’. They have a scratchy thread for the leg opening seams and are a thinner slightly more rough fabric. All my girl could do is squirm and shake saying “no no scratchy” when trying them on. She’s 6 with a definite flair for the comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Soph86 from Great! I love this product so much, but I have one objection. I really wish there would be larger sizes, because my child still loves these, even though she doesn't really fit into them anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HotWeatherMom from Daughter's favorite My six year old daughter doesn't want to wear anything else! We live in a hot climate so she really needs something that breathes, yet allows her to do all the active things she loves. Her favorite capri leggings from another brand were discontinued, so I decided to try Hanna bike shorts. First I bought one and when she wanted to wear it everyday, I bought enough for the entire week. Soft, comfortable, modest, sweet colors, they wash well. My girl is 48" tall and 60#, and the 130 size fits her perfectly. She wears them under dresses and with shirts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JeanieN from Best bike short I've found I don't understand why some reviewers have had a problem with the quality. These do not pill. And best of all they are THICK. The cheap bike shorts I buy from other retailers are thin enough you can see underwear either because the fabric is almost see-through or because it's so thin it doesn't smooth over seams. The colors of these shorts are also great and match clothes well (not the yucky neons and generic bright pinks I see elsewhere). I personally did not notice them being too roomy in the crotch area. I have purchased these for my 6-year-old (size 110 and she is quite slender, fits 5T leggings) and my 8-year-old (130 and she is slightly bigger than average). I like that these shorts are plenty long. A lot of shorts these days are so short my kids wouldn't even be allowed to wear them to school. This sturdy fabric is particularly a bonus for bike shorts and leggings because they tend to get hammered with stains. Hanna fabric can handle the stain removers I flood them with to get out dirt and grease. After a summer of serious wear-and-tear, I am very happy with the excellent state these shorts are still in. Ours are still free of fading, pilling, stains and holes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fox62 from Most durable bike short These shorts are thick enough to wear as stand-alone shorts, but also work great under dresses. I can always count on them to be long enough to meet school dress code, and never worry about them riding up on the playground. I have never had the experience of "pilling" with this product or any other Hanna bike short or legging, and I machine wash them. My daughter is stick-thin, but the shorts still fit her nicely. True to size chart. Sometimes I've sized up when she's between sizes, and we just flip down the waistband and they work perfectly. This is the only brand that my daughter can't tear a hole in. Normally my daughter prefers low-riding waistband, but she doesn't complain about Hannas because they fit so well. LOVE the ballet pink this year.
