Rated 5 out of 5 by SusieNC from Nice for NC hot summers I love this dress and it will be perfect for our NC summers. The full skirt and pockets are wonderful and so handy. I usually order a 12 petite or large petite from other companies but have learned over the years that a Hanna size medium is perfect for me since petite is not an option. I am 5'2" and the skirt hits just below my knees which I prefer. The fabric is thinner than the children's clothing as other reviewers have said but there is plenty of coverage with the full skirt and it is not see through. I ordered the Navy. The v neck is lower than I expected but it works just fine and will work for summer. I am in my 60s and pleased with this dress for casual wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wingthing from Cute dress but can be better The fit is good for me. I bought a small and I am a size 6. It hits above my knees as a 5'6''. I like the V-neck. Not too deep and deep enough that is flattering and I can wear short or long necklaces. It is a lighter weight fabric for warmer weather. It is not see though but it bought it in black. It is a versatile piece that I can add jean jacket/ cardigan for spring or cool summer nights with silver bangles; top with leather jackets with boots for early fall. One thing they can improve is to get rid of the two seams at mid section. It is making my waist looks wider than it actually is and another reason why I picked black instead of other lighter colors so the seams are not as visible. I know they are adding the seams to reduce fabric wastage/reduce fabric cost but the seam is too high and above my lower bust. I want to pull the dress down a little to hit the right spot. Other than the seams, I love this dress, love the pockets, fabric quality, cute V-neck front, back and the slight flowy lower part of this dress. Please fix the seams or the location of the seams so I can buy this dress in lighter colors. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by momtolj from Fun, flattering dress, a few drawbacks This dress has a great cut and is flattering to my shape. Two things I would note that I didn't realize looking at the pictures, but wish I had. 1. The V neck is fairly deep (for my preference). The model's hair sort of covers up how much skin is showing from the V cut. It is still modest, but as someone who prefers a little more coverage I wish I would have realized this. 2. There is a panel that sits under the bust but above the skirt portion of the dress. If you look closely in the picture you can see it, but it didn't pop out to me. For this reason you have to pull the dress down further so the panel sits where it is supposed to, which is what causes a deeper V. The dress is thinner material, but seems appropriate for summer. Overall I like the dress, I just wish the panel under the bust didn't exist so I could keep the dress pulled up a bit higher on my chest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by heintz21 from The perfect non-Mom MOM dress I find that V-neck dresses are more flattering on me, so I was thrilled to see one pop up from Hanna. I patiently waited for the right sale, and scooped this one up in black! It fit so wonderfully I didn't even wash it before I wore it out of the house. On me, the V-neck is lovely, but some may find it too revealing. The fabric is lighter-weight, but definitely not flimsy. I'll wear it now with leggings and a cardigan, and the lighter-weight fabric will be welcome when it is hot out. Personally, I prefer to wear dresses with slipshorts or something similar for modesty (and for running around after children at the park), so I have no concerns about the fabric. The pockets don't poof out on me at all -- they're in the right place for the style, and I'm thrilled that Hanna puts pockets on dresses! I ordered an XL to allow for some shrinkage, since I have a feeling I will wash/wear/wash/wear all spring/summer long. I'm between a L and XL in Hanna, at 5'6" and 190#, bust and hips measuring 44". I'm debating on ordering it in navy too...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Penny from Go-to summer dress I was prompted to review this dress based on the mixed assessment of the fabric in other reviews. Yes, the fabric is lightweight, but not cheap or 'thin.' It's not as heavy as the thick classic Hanna fabric much of the kids clothing is made of; but it's a soft and sleek fabric an adult woman might appreciate. It's flattering and incredibly comfortable. I love V neck and am always more likely to purchase something with this neckline. My only change would be making this dress a tiny bit longer, but that is likely due to my height. At 5'10", I really prefer tall sizes, but can't pass up the love, hanna dresses. I'm 150 lbs and the medium was perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hannashopper from flimsy I was very excited about this dress for summer, but when I pulled it out of the box I knew right away it would not work as one of my daughter's dresses was actually heavier in the package than this one! Nevertheless, I thought I would try it on, but the fabric is too thin to feel comfortable in the (admittedly very soft) dress. Also, I bought two of the Elisabet dresses because I love them and I bought this in the same size, but it was way too tight on my chest. I am 5'7, size 4-6 with a larger bust, and I got the S in all of the dresses. It is going back, which is a bummer because I thought it would be my go-to summer dress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MegTeeps from Great for smaller women I am 5'4'', 110 lbs, 32A, and ordered an extra small. This is the first Hanna dress I've tried that actually fits! I find that most Hanna clothing is too large for me. The cut and fit are wonderful and the pockets are fun. If I could change one thing it would be the thickness of the fabric - it's a little on the thin side (but not see through). Even so, I will be keeping this dress.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rose R from Unsubstantial fabric Like the scoop neck tee dress made with the same fabric, this dress scores lots of points for cut and style, but lacks quality. The fabric is just too thin, especially for the price. It is soft and smooth, but it needs more substance. The pockets are cute and welcomed, but they seem to sag with the thin skirt. I'm torn on this dress. Love how it looks, but not sure I can justify the cost for this fabric.
