Our sizing is easy
Our easy European sizing is based on height. It's so fast and simple to use, and makes sense because kids all grow at their own pace. Once you've tried it, you'll love it, we promise.

Using our size chart
Measure your child from the top of the head to the floor in inches, then use the chart to convert to centimeters. Questions? Just call or email us, we'll help.

Height just measure your child's height for a good fit

Weight is sometimes helpful if a child is above or below average weight.

Age if you don't have access to height (for instance with gifts), age is a good way to guesstimate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New style sweatpants? Hanna Andersson, you are my favorite clothing brand for my children! I have bought countless articles of clothing for my four children. I just came to your website to purchase some sweats and found that our favorite sweatpants have been changed? They were perfect as they were! Why would you change them? I was going to purchase them anyway but after reading the reviews, I have changed my mind. Please, bring back the old style. They were perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New style is horrible I have purchased the Hanna Classic Sweatpants for the last ten years. All of my boys have loved the comfortable, relaxed style of the sweats and they have been our go to pants for school and play. I loved them because they were heavy duty and did not look sloppy like other sweatpants out there. My boys are very sensitive to materials and fit, and the new style of these is horrible. The drawstring makes no sense and is sloppy looking, and the band waist is much less comfortable than the old stretchband. Plus, they are too much like Hanna's Skinny pants and too constraining. Please, please bring back the old sweatpants for all of the sensory children out there! Why did you change a good thing? If it's not broke, don't fix it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New cut is all wrong These have been our go-to pants for 3 of my son's 5 years. Every season, every color, everything. He doesn't want tight fitting clothing. Who does, when their job is to be exploring, learning, running around? I don't want things tugging on me while I'm running around and neither does he. Such a disappointment as the search begins for a new go-to.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New style/cut is disappointing These used to be our go-to pant--I have probably purchased around 20 pairs of very gud sweatpants in the past, year after year, for my son. The the new slim-cut design, however, is far too tight in the waist and hips for my sturdy boy AND the seat/rise is extremely short. Not very gud anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The change is terrible Please bring back the older version of these. The new version is terrible. Way too skinny. These are sweat pants. They are suppose to be loose and comfortable. Everything these new ones aren't. Not everything needs to be "skinny".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We like these new style sweatpants too We have been a Hanna customer for many years now and have purchased the older style very gud sweats and just bought two pairs of these new ones. We loved the old ones but actually prefer and like the new ones better! I got the size 110 for my almost 4.5 year old, 42 inches tall 38 lbs and it fits well with room to grow. They are soft and comfortable and perfect for fall-spring. I would say the older style may be a tiny, just tiny bit looser all around legs/hips and it had a stretchier elastic waist. The quality of them are equal. I've washed them and dried them and they came out beautifully.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy sweatpants The kids very gud sweatpants are made to last. Heavy material that has stood up to tough kid testing. She will outgrow them before she outwears them! Only drawback, they are not soft and fuzzy on the inside.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from change for the worse I have started buying very gud sweats for my first child 12 years ago. They were our favorite pants for girls and boys alike. They lasted trough a bunch of kids of both genders, nephews, nieces etc. The new pants I just bought this week are HORRIBLE. I know the slim fit is all the rage now, but who thought a classic brand like Hanna would go "trendy". My 6 year old boy looks like he is wearing long johns or leggings. That is not a look we are going for. When he bends down to play, I can see his behind in these pants. Why make tight waist on sweats? My 3 year old has a hard time pulling them up after going potty because the waist is so tight. Draw string is annoying, it gets in the way, gets tangled and makes pants look too casual (we used black sweats as dress pants often for recitals, church etc). I know there are skinny kids out there - and for them there are hundreds of tight pants out there now. Why not keep a classic, relaxed, comfortable style while introducing more trendy one? Do our kids really need to be wearing tight, skinny fit clothes? What are they showing off and for whom? Sweatpants are used for gym, why can't they be a bit loose? I think Hanna made a HUGE mistake discontinuing the classic pants and substituting them with these. I am returning them and moving on.
