Our sizing is easy!
We still use the European way of sizing by height in centimeters because it's easy and makes good sense - since every child grows at their own pace all you need to do is measure their height for a good fit.

There's no need to "buy big."
Our clothes have plenty of growth room, so go ahead and order the correct size on our chart - there's no need to "buy big." We can't stress this enough! Whether you choose an item that's prewashed or one that has shrinkage built in, every hanna garment is designed for a good fit with room for growth.

How to use our size chart:
Just measure your child from the top of the head to the floor in inches, then use the chart to convert to centimeters. Call us with any questions and we'll be happy to help you get the right fit.

Height is the one and only measure you need to order hannas - we can't stress this enough - measure the height for a good fit.

Weight may be helpful if a child is above or below average weight.

Age isn't nearly as accurate as using the height (since kids all grow at different rates!). It's helpful when sending out-of-town gifts.

Cute but more of a Fall/Spring jacket It runs a tad big but then again she can wear it next year . My daughter is 7 and loves it ! We live in New England and it doesn't keep her very warm alone but with layers like a fleece it sweater it's great and waterproof !! She loves that it's not too bulky , and its soft not stiff like a lot of other snow/ski jackets. Since she has a little bit of a tummy soft over stiff is better !! December 30, 2014
Terrific coat This coat looks so cute--the colors are adorable, it's a little longer than you expect, it's light and thin but really warm. We love it. I sized up because we have very mild winters and don't get much wear out of coats here in Texas. My daughter will wear this next season too. December 29, 2014
Super Soft Jacket This jacket is warm and cozy. We love it, it washes well and is a great hand me down! December 27, 2014
great design & color but not warm enough for a cold Midwest Winter Ordered this via catalog. It looked great. The cut of the jacket was square which my granddaughter needed. Disappointed, it was too thin for a cold Mudwest winter (even though it had thermolite lining). Good for fall not below zero winter here. Had to buy another warmer jacket for grandaughter. Not pleased I don't understand this jacket. This is not a Winter coat. Agree that this is a Fall jacket. We are in the Northeast. Not extremely cold, but it can reach below freezing on a Winter Day. My 5 year old complained about being cold with a shirt and sweater underneath this coat on a day where it was above freezing and she was outside for less than 10 minutes. I realize it has Thinsulate but they could have added a layer of fleece in the bodice. Normally I am a fan of everything Hanna, but this I am not pleased at all with this coat. I am stuck with 2 impractical coats for my 2 girls. November 26, 2014
Great style. Not warm enough. Zipper malfunctions. We are having to layer another winter jacket under this jacket to keep our 4 yr old warm enough to play outside. Also the zipper keeps separating when we zip it up. I've never had quality issues with any Hanna product. This is surprising! November 25, 2014
Disappointed as a winter coat I love all the Hanna gear we've purchased in the past two years. But this coat is very disappointing as a winter coat for anyone who lives in a place where it gets below 30 degrees. We've already had some single digit days here in Cleveland and my daughter has said she's been cold already. With the tags off and her name on the tag already, I guess I can't return it but we'll have to buy her another winter coat for those bitterly cold days and save this for warmer winter days. Don't buy this jacket for warmth unless you want to do several layers underneath. November 18, 2014
great style runs large I bought two of this coat for my 1year old twins to wear this winter. To my surprise it runs large and happened to fit my 2.5 year old perfectly. I guess that she'll be wearing them this year and the twins will get them next year. Now i just need to find coats for them this year. November 16, 2014
