Very Güd Deck Pants
I never write a review...LOVE these!
I never write reviews, but I have to now. My son is now 13, taller than his parents (!), and soon outgrowing his deck pants. We live in California, so these have been a daily staple. I am getting cold turkey because he will soon be too tall for the 160 size. Hannah, please consider making a teen line. I've dressed him in Hannahs since babyhood and he's super picky--wants to be comfortable but still look cool. And I love age-appropriate clothes-help!

The only shorts my son will wear
My son is 7 and these are the only shorts (or pants for that matter) he will wear. We live in a temperate climate and he wears them year-round even when I think it is too cold. He checks his supply and will even help do the laundry when the supply is running low. I have given up trying to get him to wear anything else. I like them because they are longer than other shorts and the quality is good so they last through many, many washings.

A Hanna Favorite
Deck pants have been a staple in my son's wardrobe for 10 years. They aren't too heavy, they have pockets, they cover the knees, and they come in great colors. They hold up very well. Because of the sizing, we often get more than one summer out of them -- and then pass them on!

Durable and stylish
I bought these shorts in red for my 6.5 year old. They have stood up to his 'product testing destruction' (aka stains, holes, rips, pen marks) extremely well. I just got another pair for my toddler and the waist cinches nicely for him (tall snd skinny) without looking odd.

Would have given 5 stars but...
Disappointed by a few changes to the Deck Pants. I ordered all 4 colors this summer since satisfaction was high on all counts with version I bought last year.
1) Upon receiving, I immediately felt the difference in material - not as thick and doesn't feel as durable, as if they will wear quickly after a few climbs up a tree or rocks. Seems like they made these lighter-weight now that the Trail Cargo Shorts came out and those are much thicker, almost canvas-like.
2) The drawcord is no longer an actual braided cord but a flat, woven, less durable drawstring.
3) Lastly, the Antwerp Gray color is not as dark & charcoal-y as before while the Orange Daybreak is a Day-Glo orange! Very bright/loud and almost fluorescent. The orange from last year was an easy-on-the-eyes sunset orange.
Am a huge Hanna fan and will keep these because the contrast stitching is a fav of my son's but I am disappointed with the compromises made with this product. Hanna, please don't skimp on quality - it's why we are willing to pay more!

a little too big
I really like the stitching and my son loves the color. Just have concerns about the size, because they are HUGE. However, they will last for multiple seasons and he'll grow into them, so that it is not a big deal.

Tough wearing for active boys.
My boys love the comfort of these pants. I love how durable they are. Highly recommended!

Love these pants
They wash well, protect his knees, have pockets (which he loves), give him lots of room for movement and diaper (alas). I would fill his closet with these.
