Rated 4 out of 5 by Soph86 from Great! I love this product so much, but I have one objection. I really wish there would be larger sizes, because my child still loves these, even though she doesn't really fit into them anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HotWeatherMom from Daughter's favorite My six year old daughter doesn't want to wear anything else! We live in a hot climate so she really needs something that breathes, yet allows her to do all the active things she loves. Her favorite capri leggings from another brand were discontinued, so I decided to try Hanna bike shorts. First I bought one and when she wanted to wear it everyday, I bought enough for the entire week. Soft, comfortable, modest, sweet colors, they wash well. My girl is 48" tall and 60#, and the 130 size fits her perfectly. She wears them under dresses and with shirts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JeanieN from Best bike short I've found I don't understand why some reviewers have had a problem with the quality. These do not pill. And best of all they are THICK. The cheap bike shorts I buy from other retailers are thin enough you can see underwear either because the fabric is almost see-through or because it's so thin it doesn't smooth over seams. The colors of these shorts are also great and match clothes well (not the yucky neons and generic bright pinks I see elsewhere). I personally did not notice them being too roomy in the crotch area. I have purchased these for my 6-year-old (size 110 and she is quite slender, fits 5T leggings) and my 8-year-old (130 and she is slightly bigger than average). I like that these shorts are plenty long. A lot of shorts these days are so short my kids wouldn't even be allowed to wear them to school. This sturdy fabric is particularly a bonus for bike shorts and leggings because they tend to get hammered with stains. Hanna fabric can handle the stain removers I flood them with to get out dirt and grease. After a summer of serious wear-and-tear, I am very happy with the excellent state these shorts are still in. Ours are still free of fading, pilling, stains and holes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fox62 from Most durable bike short These shorts are thick enough to wear as stand-alone shorts, but also work great under dresses. I can always count on them to be long enough to meet school dress code, and never worry about them riding up on the playground. I have never had the experience of "pilling" with this product or any other Hanna bike short or legging, and I machine wash them. My daughter is stick-thin, but the shorts still fit her nicely. True to size chart. Sometimes I've sized up when she's between sizes, and we just flip down the waistband and they work perfectly. This is the only brand that my daughter can't tear a hole in. Normally my daughter prefers low-riding waistband, but she doesn't complain about Hannas because they fit so well. LOVE the ballet pink this year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jess711 from Crotch hangs too low That's my only complaint, but also the reason I will return these. Love the idea, but not a good fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RI1234567 from love them, size up as "bermudas" The quality of these shorts is amazing, just like the leggings. My daughter is at the very upper limit of size 90 and still fits into her 90 leggings, but I actually got these in size 110 for her. The waist is a tad loose, but doesn't fall down at all, and this way the legs are slightly loose and they go down to the middle of her knee cap. I like how the larger size looks with a t and allows for a little more air on those hot days. Next summer they will be perfect under a tunic or dress.

Rated 1 out of 5 by chicmom3332 from Crotch is too roomy When I bought last year's leggings, I found the crotch look more suited for a boy than a girl. The same is true with the biker shorts - the front crotch is way too roomy! The fit is terrible over all. They also run a size small, so size up at least one size, if you buy them. Pilling began after first wash, as has been the case with all my Hanna items the past couple seasons. I followed the wash instructions and didn't even place them in the dryer. I feel like Hanna clothes require more care than my adult clothing and even then, the fabric still shows wear very, very quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kobayashimaru1 from A summer wardrobe staple My daughter wears these either alone or under dresses/skirts. Love the variety of colors that go with everything, even from season to season. They hold up fantastically through all kinds of play and constant washing. For toddlers/preschoolers who are haven't slimmed down quite yet they can be a little tight in the waist so we size up and they work perfectly!
