Luv it! I love the look & feel of this jacket. It is very versatile & the perfect weight for the season. I love the longer length. It's a fun addition to my wardrobe. Everyone should have one! May 14, 2013
Just what I needed When this Anorak appeared on Hanna web site I immediately knew that this would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe. When it finally went on sale I rushed to order it.. It will be perfect on my northern European travel this summer, in case the temperature drops. It will also be very useful here in the South during mild early winter or early spring next year. I ordered it one size larger than I needed to make sure to fit a sweater inside. May 8, 2013
LOVE IT!!! The color is beautiful, fabric is soft and comfortable, and it is stylish in a classy way. May 4, 2013
The look is beautiful, the comfort is warm and soft. In the Pacific Northwest, this is the ultimate look. I can go out to dinner fashionable and dry and I can walk around the neighborhood looking comfortable and informal on a rainy day. I loved it as soon as I tried it on! April 21, 2013
Very satisfied I am really pleased with this jacket. I'm 5'9 and 130 lbs and ordered a small so it wouldn't be too boxy--though it seems to be a slimmer styling anyway. The coat is longer than I expected but overall I'm very happy with the look and fit. The drawstring at the waist creates a nice look, though I'm not crazy about the drawstrings at the back. Overall very happy, it's just the kind of less formal, everyday light coat that I've been looking for. March 14, 2013
Too trimmed-up I think the quality and practicality of this anorak are right on. The problem I had is with the fit. It's not a boxy roomy fit and has been trimmed- up in the waist to the point that it's not effective for an outerwear piece. I could never wear it over clothing as it fits like a glove. Either it runs small or is too stylish to the point of being ill fitting. Please alter the dimensions for more roominess! Also, I'd like to see it in deep marine navy blue. March 11, 2013
Not practical This jacket looks very cute in the picture, but just didn't make sense for my life - especially for the price. First, the fabric, weight and bagginess made it more like an oversized army jacket from the surplus store. If that's the look I'm going for, I'll go to the Army/Navy store and buy one for 10 bucks. Second, for a spring jacket, the weight, color and detailing are not what I'm looking for. Finally, I might have kept if it were made as a water-resistant rain jacket. That at least would have been practical. March 8, 2013
Looks great in photo; quality isn't there in person. I had high hopes for this anorak. I have had previous great experiences with Hanna's "Wind at Your Back" anoraks, and looked forward to similar quality from this jacket, especially at such a significant price. When I opened the package and tried it on, I simply could not justify keeping this coat. First, the jacket appears to be lined in the photo. To be fair, the item description never mentions a lining; I just assumed from the red stripes and previous experience with Hanna's delicious jersey lining that it would come with a soft lining. Nope. Not only is this jacket unlined, the cotton is so loosely woven that you can see through it when holding it up to the light! I was excited to see the asymmetrical hemline on this jacket, as it gives it a fresh look and is the perfect length to go over long sweaters during the chilly early spring. The problem with the length is that the metal sliders on the strings that hang from the back of the coat swung and hit the back of my kneecaps every time I took a step- very distracting. This coat also appears in the photo to have small breast pockets in addition to the lower pockets. Nope. They're "mockets"; just useless "decorative" flaps of fabric. The lower pockets do not appear like they would wear well, as they are "patched on" tot he front. I did appreciate the quality of the zipper, and the fact that it has both top and bottom zips. Based on my previous total satisfaction with Hanna Andersson products (from underwear to outerwear, and everything in between), I was surprised to be so disappointed with the quality of this coat for the price. It simply doesn't measure up to the company's usual standards, and it'll be going back. March 2, 2013
