Material is awful
This is such a cute backpack but the material is awful. It's very hard and stiff. It also seems to narrow at the top so it's hard to get books in and out. I also had to fold back the flap that covers the zipper otherwise it was way too hard to zip. It's really a shame.

Good looking backpacks but need some improvement
I've purchased two of this backpacks for my two boys this year - the aligator one and the crossbones. The kids like them and they chose the designs themselves. I like the material of the backpacks - sturdy and durable, I also like the vibrant colors. The zippers are easy to open and close once you move the material that covers them toward the back. The things that I don't like are:
1. This backpack definitelly needs to be roomier. My boys are in second grade now and don't carry lots of stuff but for the next grade I need to purchase a bigger backpacks. I hardly put the lunch bag inside since when it's full I don't like it to hang outside to pull the backpack. It's hard to put a tiny folder with their homework in when I have the lunch bag inside.
2. I don't like the mesh side pockets since they've already started to tear. Definetelly prefer solid side pockets.
3. The handle on the top of one of them started to rip, but I called the customer service and they were so nice and helpful and replaced it. Thanks a lot for that.
Otherwise I've purchased lots of clothes from Hanna and I am very satisfied with the quality.

very cute, a little hard to zip
I love the look of this backpack but found it was hard to zip for my 6 year old. We also had a problem with a side pocket ripping but they were very quick to replace it without any problems.

Overall good backpack
I had to return my son's because the strap that holds lunch box was ripping off. Customer service was awesome and I had a new one within days. That said, my daughter's is perfect, so I'm guessing it was a random defect. Especially since my daughter's first Hannah back pack lasted 3 years! My biggest issue has turned out to be the size. My son has a 1" binder he carries everyday, and my daughter has a slightly bigger one, and it is a struggle to get them in. If these were just an inch taller they would be perfect. I have never had a problem with the zippers. While some people think the fabric is stiff, I don't mind that in a bag if it increases durability. It would be nice to have more girl's styles that are less "frilly"

Good, but ....
I like this backpack. Both my son (second grade) and daughter (preK) have the Be Right Backpack and matching lunch boxes (monster design and butterflies). The quality is great, the designs are super cute. The only problem is that the backpack needs to be just a bit roomier. It's difficult to get even one binder and the lunchbox into the backpack. My son clips the lunchbox on the outside of the pack, but I hate going into his school and seeing the adorable backpack gaping open with the heavy lunchbox pulling at the zipper. If it were just a bit bigger, it would be perfect.

Cute but uncomfortable
The backpack is very cute, but the material is too hard and the straps are uncomfortable. My 6 year old son has been complaining since I got it for him.
