Opposite Stripe Bike Shorts
I love these bike shorts! We got them in black as well, and the fit in the black color is much tighter - which is fine, it's just different. The opposite stripe bike shorts, however, actually fit on the looser side, which I like.

I love how cute these bike shorts look on my daughters. They also look to be super comfortable. My girls love to wear them.

Soft and comfortable
These shorts are wonderfully soft, and do not grip as tight as the solid color bike shorts do. The material is a little thinner than the solid shorts but still great. That is actually nice for summer because they aren't so hot. I took off one star just for sizing, it seems to run a tad small. If your child prefers their shorts very close fitting (and some do!) then order according to the height chart. If not, size up. If this helps, we are 131cm tall, 62-63 lbs and average build. The 140cm size was great! (In the solid bike shorts we comfortably wear 150cm size and they are not baggy.) Please do a few solid colors in this lighter style, we would get some!

I love these!
My daughter just barely grew out of the ones I got her 3 years ago so it was time for new ones. The old ones still look new. I love the longer length and quality. I got the red and blue ones this year to wear as shorts since they fit looser than normal biker shorts. These are awesome! Could you make them also in solid colors?

The perfect shorts!
Our go-to favorite shorts for warm weather. Layer with dresses, or wear with a shirt. Would expect nothing less from Hanna!

Shorts are 5-star, BUT be warned: this is NOT "Apple Red"
We love these shorts (5 stars for them): they are modest and comfortable and the stripes are particularly wonderful: somehow more dressy than the flat color ones.
However, if your child's favorite color is red (Apple Red), then you should know that this is "Tangy Red", with a distinctly orange-y tone. Very noticeable if your kid is a red-connoisseur or you see these near the Apple Red.
Now, I know that it seems obvious: they are not called "Apple Red", so why would they be the same color....my daughter, who is usually quite happy with any shade of red over any other color, has apparently become used to the high quality of color of Hanna's Apple Red. Thus, she was disappointed in this color: she dismissively called it "orangey" and suspected me of not ordering Hannas.
So, I have deducted a star for the "Tangy Red" color, as my child requested, and I am posting this review so that if other parents have red-obsessed kids, they can adjust expectations accordingly (and/or call Hanna and request the shorts in Apple Red, as I have).
From an adult's perspective: "Tangy Red" is a gorgeous flame/Carmine red, but kids often don't realize that there are probably over 100 different shades of red. The Hanna Apple Red is among the most perfect of those (and I confess that I like the Apple Red more myself...what is it with summer colors being muted?).
Please, Hanna...keep this "Tangy Red" if you will, but give us the Hanna Apple Red as an option, too.
